Mrk 4 scope adj.

Anyone else see an increase in the amount of up adjustment in the scope after having it a couple of months. Mine started at the claimed 70 but now i am up to 82. Cant say if the last few are accurate or not but just wondering if people have been having the same thing happen to them?

Many things could cause it, but what matters is knowing how much accurate adjustment you have left. You need to watch the reticle looking at a collimator/boresighter or sighted at a target with the rifle held steady while cranking the clicks.

With many scopes, the turret will keep clickin' away long after the reticle has stopped moving. Just because you can physically enter the clicks doesn't mean you really have that much adjustment.

Never heard of a scope "gaining adjustment", but I am going to have Hazer build a 7 rem. mag. for me shortly.......
