Are supplies a bust everywhere or just that bad in my area. Having a hard time locating powder and bullets. I have a friend in Missoula that can maybe pick me up supplies there. Are there any good stores in the area that i could call? Also headed out there in July would love to do some praire dog hunting if anyone can help me out with a place i have no idea on any rules or regs of MT. I sure appreciate it guys.

All the sporting goods stores here in Helena plan on getting all their orders of powder and bullets by late June, early July. As far as grounds squirrels are concerned, you can shoot them at anytime of the year with no tags or permits required. Same goes for coyotes. Shoot them at your will; the buzzards will appreciate the meal! :) gun)

No praire dogs near Missoula, but you should be able to find a spot for ground squirrels, or "gophers" as we call them here. Cabela's new store opens the 12th of June although I'm not expecting a huge component selection. Check Sportsman's and Bob Ward while you are here. mtmuley

Today I was talking to a custom rifle builder here in Montana, about reloading supplies. As with all the place, I have been to, there isn't much. They were telling me that in Canada the components are over stock there. That Primers, Powders, Brass, and bullets of all types.
So I am trying to conform this.
Second items. What does it take to get items of powders, primers shipped from Canada, to the USA?

Nice dig!
I don't know if I can make this year, because of moving. It's game on next year. I used to shoot ground squirrels from where I came from. Farmers loved it. I loved it too.
Got you down in a list of persons to contact. You will hearing from me again.
I am very respectful of anybody property. If going through gates I leave as I find them. If requested to close all gates I do so. I want go come and hunt peoples property. I watch out for thing that I might think is wrong and notified the owner of them. I was born in the country and raised there. Farming was the main stay there. Loved it, and all gone now.
