Took out the new ruger m77vt in 6.5 creedmoor and found the gophers were out. Ended up hitting one at 241 yards. Man do I love this new caliber.

In the Gallatin valley. They have been out for over a week now. Not many but enough to make it worth the walk on some cut banks by the wheat fields.

Nothing is up north of MSLA, yet. They should be up around Polson with in a few days if the weather stays as warm as it's been lately.

Stocking up on gopher ammo. 17 HMR, 22 LR (when found reasonable) and 22 Hornet. Time to squeeze some triggers!
