Just back from annual antelope hunt where the wife out did me again. She won the long distance award with her 419 yard kill shot. I came in at an unremarkable second place with a 322 yard shot.

A lot of trigger time at long distance shooting allows her to make such shots without much effort. Declining the offer to replace her rifle with a "truly" long distant shooter, I suppose, says a lot for her 270.

NICE! What's the rifle and load data for both of you? Hope you flew out there! Long drive.

Wife's rifle is a Rem. 700 BDL Shooting Nosler 130 grain Hunting Ballistic Tip - 55.0 grain IMR 4350 Powder - Federal GM210M primer and Norma brass - MV 2955

I was shooting a HS Precision 7MM STW using Nosler 160 grain Accubond

That is a long drive although we did fly this time.
