Looking for recommendations for a reputable gunsmith or company in the midwest that can chamber a proof research carbon fiber barrel onto a custom action. As well as thread the muzzle for a brake. I know given the current state of the industry itll take many months turn around time. Which isnt an issue. Just looking for someone that does top notch work. Thanks!

Yes SAC is owned by Mark Gordon. I've got full custom 284 win built by him and his work is second to none. Shoots very tiny groups with little effort.

Also take a look at LRI (long rifles inc). Chad Dixon is also a very reputable smith with quick turn around times. He uses a lot of technology to speed up the process.
