Meopta or Nikon

Gentlmen,

I am considering purchasing a Meostar R-1 4X16X50 or a Nikon Monarch X 4X16X50. I want to mount the scope on a Sendero 7mag. Do any of you guys shoot with thse scopes? What are the pros and cons on the scopes.
