Hi, my name is Jason but most call me Shag.
I am 33yrs old, grew up on a farm/ranch in N.West Texas; still here. Started building my own rifles on m98s about 8 years ago, now moved on to m70s and rem 700s. I love the 6.5-284 and shoot it the most, but have others as well. I like to shoot bug holes on paper and try to beat the wind, but my favorite is to put berger vlds in feral hogs from distances they can't possibly fathom.
I've been reading here for a few yrs but just joined. Great stuff from great folks and I am glad to be a part of it; and maybe I can help someone along the way.:)

Jason,

Welcome aboard.

I am one of those that needs more help than I can get. At least I know it.:)

Chime on in.

How far is farther than they can believe?

I would like some information on terminal performance on those Bergers.

Welcome to Long Range Hunting Shag.

Keep us posted as to how the Bergers do with the hogs. "Professor" Roy has a lot of interest in the Bergers as well as hogs.:)
