MDT HNT26 Barrel Swap?

Looking at buying a Hnt26 chassis. I would like to be able to run different barrels. For those who have one, does the forend need to be removed each time you remove the barreled action? If so, I'm a little concerned how well the magnesium will hold up to frequent swaps.

Yes, you remove the top half with two screws. I have swapped barrels about 10-12 times now in the year of ownership. I am not sure what part you're concerned with wearing out.

Just the screws for the forend going in to the magnesium chassis. I wouldn't want to screw up the threads and strip them out. So you can't remove a barreled action without removing the forend?

Nothing to worry about unless you cross thread or over torque them
