If you are familiar with McWhorter custom rifles, you will know the value and precision of this rifle.
Below are a list of the components:
-Borden Timberline action with Helically fluted bolt, machined handle, side bolt release, Sako type extractor, 8/40s
-McMillan Varmint Edge stock, pillar bedded, custom painted Shadowgrass
-Hart SS Fluted Matchgrade barrel, 24" + custom Muzzlebrake. .675 at Muzzle 24"--Light #5 contour
-Jewell Trigger set at 1 1/2 lbs
-Talley Lightweight alum. mounts
-Leupold 4.5-14x50 Greybull scope with screw in Leupold Aluminium scope caps
I purchased this rifle new last year for a trip to Alaska. While there, I took a 61 inch Moose at 639 yards and a Dall sheep at 300 yards. Both were one shot kills.Rifle comes with 50 rounds of hand loaded ammo and all load data. This rifle is a tack driver and has produced .33 inch groups for me at 100 yds and 4 inch
groups at 1000 yds with 180 berger VLD's. This gun is dialed and ready to go out to a 1000 yds.
This rig new would cost $6500. I will take $4900 for it. Buyer pays shipping.
