I believe it's a 8 twist but I don't know for sure. I can run a cleaning rod down it to figure it out. It shoots the 180 Bergers amazingly well but I've not tried the 195's. 180's at 3250 fps.

Yes, awesome! I remember! I guided for CWO for many years and still do a few antelope hunts every year. Where you live?

I have lived in Powell Wyoming since 1974. Oilfield geologist was my field of work. Worked in Cody for a gun maker for 7 years. Learned alot. I know the gun you have is a shooter. Still remember that hunt with you in the sandills of eastern Colorado. Those were the best of days.

What contour is the barrel? Looks like my #5 Krieger a little.

Not 100% but yes, I think it is a #5. Somewhere I have the spec sheet on this rifle but I couldn't find it the other day. I believe the #5 Krieger is what MCR used a lot before they went to Hart barrels and now a lot of other ones too.
