Looking at the crs.1 (3-12) and crs.2 ( 4-16).

Any body have one that can review or compare the glass quality- tracking consistency, overall quality, eyebox, eye relief, warranty/cs. Etc ???

They say they are japan assembled.

I have the crs.1 3-12.

I haven't used it much yet but seems like a really solid scope.

Nice and clear, sharp edges and nice heavy crosshairs. I hate really fine crosshairs. I mounted it on my do all carry 270. I think it'll be really good.

I'm probably going to get a 4-16x44 to play with too.

Order one up.... you can return them

Can't speak for the crs series but I have rs1 great glass tracks great only complaints are eye relief window is shorter than others that I have and the rubber protector on the eye piece comes off easily but other than that rock solid scope

Sandman, I am curious about the crs.2. Thinking about one for a 240 Wby.
How do they compare to say, to a Leupold vx3? Can you give a run down on what you liked and what you didn't?
