The other day I saw a guys reticle that was in MOA rather than MIL dots. I thought that makes so much sense. I have a scope with turrets in 1/4 MOA, but my reticle is in MIL. Yes of course I can do the conversion, but why would anyone want an extra step? Ranging targets isn't any easier with MOA reticle than MIL dot reticle? wouldn't you want
"Matching the curtains with the drapes." so to say? I got a little more confused watching a documentary on snipers and it looked like a lot of them also had MIL dot reticles, but MOA turrets. Can anyone set me straight on this? Should I be sending my scope back to Leupold to get a reticle with MOA? Thank You
