Has anyone encountered a DPMS LR308 barrel in .308 that had a short chamber or one with no leade?
My DPMS SASS barrel has almost zero leade. I cannot seat any bullets to magazine length of 2.80" or meet the COL specs in load data.
Also has a ugly chamber that had lots of marks on it and a GO gauge is very hard to close the bolt on out of the bolt carrier with ejector removed. Would not close on a GO gauge with the bolt in the carrier with ejector removed. This has been taken care of and it now chambers a sized case.
I also have a DPMS 308 24" bull barrel and it has a perfect chamber and the leade will allow any bullet I have tried to seat at 2.80".
