I'm on the notification list for several powders from at least a dozen suppliers and have been for a couple of months and have'nt got the first bite. You should hit the casinos with that luck.
On gunbroker yesterday, a guy had 5 1lb bottles of R15 listed for $500 start bid, and he had a taker. Another listing was for the same R15, and the bidding was up to over $400 with 3 days left. I did see an 6 or 8 lb jug of R-26, but it was somewhere around Denver, and local p/u only. Craziness abounds on gunbroker in regards to reloading components.

That's pretty steep. Just bought 4 one pounders at 35.00 ea. That's still cheaper buying 8 one pounders for 280.00 than one 8lb jug from him. I think RL26 is 229.00 when it's in stock (which is nowhere). Think I'll go back and buy the remaining 3 cans. Never know when I'll find it again.
Alot of those guys have their friends and fellow gougers bid on their listings. They inflate their own market

That can work but it can backfire if someone doesn't up the bid your buddy puts in. It's wasting alot of time just to gouge pricing. Your right tho, it does happen.
In that case you sell to your buddy, both seller and buyer get a 5 star transaction rating and the item gets relisted, often times with the same photos
If nobody outbids their buddy they just re-list it and they know what the bid ceiling is for the item the second time around.
You can kill two birds with one stone. You can buy it on gunbroker AND get your prostate checked at the same time. I hate gougers
