[/IMG] I joined this Forum to hopefully get a little help on putting a price on this gun and getting it into the hands of someone who can truly enjoy it for what it is.
So I am not a long range or precision shooter but love and live to hunt!! I am wanting to sell this so I am able to purchase a new rifle more suitable for my needs. I know very little about prices of bench / precision rifles and about this gun.

I had purchased it from my brother in law who had inherited it. All he could tell me about it is that the old timer who built it used it out west prarrie dog hunting. We are from Michigan so I cant imagine it was too often. I put a few boxes threw it and it shoots amazing, the trigger is the lightest trigger i have ever seen!! But I just never use it!! So all that being said I could possibly be asking too much or too little... I really honesty dont know!! I guess I am looking for maybe some guidance on what it truly is worth. I have a rough idea from what research I have done on it but not enough to feel comfortable asking over what I am.

What I do know about it is that it has Kelbly Stolle Kodiak action with a left bolt, left port, with a custom right hand thumbhole stock. I am not certin who made the stock or barrel but both are in great shape. The barrel is a heavy stainless target crown barrel. It has a weaver V16 classic 4x16x42 scope with return to zero turrets.
I am asking $1500.00 is that to much or little???
Here is a pic you can check out for now until I can get some better ones.

Base price on that action alone (new one anyways) is $1200. Barrel, chamber ,stock, trigger etc.... ??? Not likely to get full retail on any of it, but it's got some real value. Cruise the classifieds and see what some similar stuff is listed for and weigh your desire to sit on a rifle you may not use often, against its true value. Everything is always worth what someone will pay for it. 6br website could be of use as well as this forum

Thanks JJ! I found 6br to be pretty helpful! I seen some value in it when I bought it too but it didnt know for sure. I have no real desire to sit on this rifle either. I got a pretty good deal on it and was going to keep it but have since decided to use it to fund another purchase. It is my intensions to figure out a value on it and then cut the price a good bit and pass along really good buy on it to somone who can appreciate and use it more than I can!
