Looking For Beam Scale Check Weights

An easy way to check the accuracy is to use a good bench rest bullet as a test weight.

Take one of your bullets with a weight in grains close to your charge weight of powder and use that as your check weight. I have an A & D Fx120 scale that measures down to 0.02 grains and weight sorting Berger bullets I found was a waste of time as they were all exactly the same weight. The Hornady Amax bullets are also spot on for weight. Either of those should be fine for a low cost check weight.

Mine came from e bay. They are gram weights, but many conversion calculators are available.
