So I shot my SP this weekend for the first time at 500m. It shoot well but I want to get better and was wondering if there is any techniques you guys have that work best? I'm using a bipod with rear flat sand bag at this time thinking about switching to some kind of a rest for the front. I can post pics of the pistol if needed

You may already know this, but here is some info:

The key to shooting consistently from the prone position with a bi-pod and a rear field bag, is to keep consistent tension and the rear bag all the way through the recoil impulse. SO IMPORTANT.
If you let up or clinch harder during recoil, you will have vertical issues.
Also, make sure the rear bag is in the same place from shot to shot.
It is all about consistency.
I use corn cob media or heavy sand, depending what my task is.

Also, when not on the ground, put alight rubber mat on the hard bench and that will help as well.

Then there is controlled breathing the type of grip you have and once it is right keeping it consistent from shot to shot, etc.
