Let’s see the rewards of hard work.

Thank you !
Lots of practice and reloading went into the end results.
As far as the trophy goes I have mounted most of my wife's and myself's critters through the years . All are trophy's to us ! Some look at them and say well that's a small one , i say you should have been there it was an Amazing time together !

I quit getting any Taxidermy done when my Taxidermist passed away suddenly. He was a best friend .
I built this new hunting 338 Edge after my Surgery and a new chapter in hunting and Taxidermy along with it !
Life starts again!
I Thank God and the Amazing Team that saved my Life ! Please injoy what you have everybody!!

Rum Man
Sorry for your loss and thankful that your surgery went well
You have been blessed with a second chance

Not my elk but I took him shooting to help him get dialed in with my rifle, found the bull for him and talked him through the shot so it feels almost like my elk! I black his face out because I don't know if he wants his face all over the internet.

Shot at 598 yards with a 155 gr Edge TLR out of a 7mm Sherman Max

This is my 10 year old son with his cow elk this year. As you know, any animal that a kid takes is a trophy to them! I love getting to do this with him. We go shooting A LOT and it is fun to see him progress.

Shot at 590 yards with a 140 gr berger out of a 6.5mm Sherman.

Any elk, gun or bow is a trophy in my mind. Here is my bull this year. 12 hour pack out my buddy n me in grizzly country over dead fall. Shot him (my farthest) at 950yrds. 300 rum 212ELDX. I bought the scope and rings here from 2 nice gents.

Not exactly long range, 15 yards. Got to watch him fall, and share the whole thing with my 62 year old dad, including the pack out. He's a tough old bird! It was about 4am by the time we were finished, his only comment was "The last time I stayed up this late was packing your bull out last year!" :)

Applied in three states for every tag available. 0 for 15. Took my Dad to our hunting area of thirty years, saw four cow elk the evening before opening day. Hunted for ten days without seeing any elk. My Dad will be 91 in March and I don't know how many more hunts I will be able to share with him.
ANY elk is a trophy. I don't give a rip about bones on the head. Can't broil them, boil them or fry them. Elk of any sex or size in the freezer are worth the effort.
If you get the chance to hunt elk anywhere, GO FOR IT! I am getting closer to being physically unable to chase them like I want to. DON'T WAIT! Time is always shorter than you think.

Shot my first elk this year after 10 years of hunting em. 750 yds, 338 LM and 300gr Berger. My longest shot on game to date. One of the best hunts I've been on, first one I got to pack my own elk out. It was one heckuva experience. Packed 4 elk out this year, and loved every minute. I wish I'd have made way for these opportunities when I was younger, but I'll keep doing until I'm dead.
