I went out to the desert today to shoot whistle pigs with my brother in-law. I took this opportunity to shoot one of our big boy swingers.
I shot it with my mini 14 from 100 yards. The projectile was a 55 gr winchester psp. The metal is of unknown type but may be a 4140. Doubtfull it is straight mild steel but who knows.
