KMW loggerhead installation

Has anyone ordered a McMillan stock inletted for KMW loggerhead cheek hardware and installed it themselves? Just wondering how difficult it is or if there are any tips anyone might have. I don't believe McMillan installs this hardware.

Call OTM Tactical. They sell Mcmillian stocks with KMW hardware installed. I looked at one yesterday.

Thanks Jay, but I am looking to have a stock made with some additional customization items and was going to order the stock that way. McMillan will inlet for the KMW hardware but I don't believe they will install it. Has anyone installed the loggerhead hardware into an inletted stock. Looking for input in this area because it looks straight forward.

A lot of good information in here. Post 13 explains a lot from Mr. Cross's point of view (the owner of KMW).

Still looking for tips from anyone that has installed one of these units.
