Does anyone know what ever happened to this fine semi-custom rifle company based out of Sequin, TX. I've had my my K-15 Instafire in 270 Wby since 1982 and it's still a dream to shoot.

Last I talked to them on the phone a few years ago they did not have a 'smith in the store. It sounded to me like they would likely shut it down for the last time. Seems like the store was still in the Seguin area but I don't recall exactly.

It looks like you have your answer. So, a highjack...
I have a K14 in .375 that fired so many 3/8" groups I was never surprised by them. Its best was a three shot 1/16" so I fired another, and it opened it up to 5/16". Since the group was "ruined" I fired a fifth shot. It opened up to 9/16". The bullets were full throttle 165 grainers. I remember a guy at the range calling it a squirrel gun.

They have closed their doors. I recently attended an auction that was selling their entire inventory.
