Kestrell 4500 Applied Balistics vs Kestrell 4500 Horus ATRAG

As the title says what are your oppinions on the two different balistics programs. I am looking to buy a kestrel with one or the other. There used to be a thread but since the forum has changed apparently all the google search links are dead. I would appreciate any and all input.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I decided on the Applied Ballistics.

The new app for using the Bluetooth to communicate with a PC, shifted the balance.

I haven't taken delivery as yet, so this isn't the voice of experience. I have been trying to sort it out for a few months.

Just got my 4500 AB a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased so far. Sorry, I cant help you with the Horus.

Also do you loose all of your programs when you change the battery?

No. You do have to calibrate the compass.
