if I take 200gr smk in 3006 and jam them (then back them off a little will I be in danger of pressures my question is only with imr4350

As long as you do a normal load development and stop at the appropriate point, no. That is my usual starting point with a VLD and then I will generally increase the jump from there if the results are not the best. Its the load length (provided it fits in the magazine) that would allow the greatest powder volume.

For accuracy Sierras don't like to be jammed. They like to jump a ways.
that's good I loaded them before they were jammed they didn't shoot worth a darn about 4in at 100 so hopefully they will be better jumping them I have 100 or so I would like to get them to shoot
