It used to be my go to rifle, but since I started in with the custom stuff it took a back seat. The SSG is a **** accurate rifle out of the box.

MARINE Well-Known Member Joined Sep 27, 2007 Messages 129 Mar 16, 2008 #3 I also own one... very acurrate but cheap plastic stock is breaking up. it loves 42.5 grains of imr4064 for the 155 grain nosler custom hpbt. mine has the double set trigger. lousy mags if you drop them fully loaded they will always break apart. and they are very expensive. dont know why steyr worked so hard making such a fine rifle with very lousy plastics...no to mention recoil pad extensions... I`ve shot my best groups with it up to 700 meters and still within the 1MOA. Joe from mexico
