"Price gouging up to $50 per thousand." Never thought I would say this but sure would like to see price gouging like that again
I wish that it was only every 30 years that it happened. This would probably be my last time seeing it too. I just hope this time doesn't last 30 years.

That's back when it really paid to reload pistol. Nowadays with component pricing, I don't think you save over buying factory ammo even if you factor your time in at minimum wage. How many panic buys between 1994 and now, how about slumps... gotta be numbers on the amount of firearms owned since then. I came of age a little after the sunset of the awb, first few years in guns were pretty awesome. After that it's been feast or famine.

Assault weapon ban.... but in the 90s average white band was probably more likely to equate to awb.
Actually, I think that they burned out in about 1977. We have had more slumps and shortages of components than they had hits.
