I want to install a removable 5 round magazine in my Rem, 700 243. All the manufaturers are offering close to my cal. are for 308. Will it work for my 243 ammo ?

Yes, "if" your rifle is already configured to accept DBM ... it also never hurts to ask the manufacturers directly.
