Is that the new Ruger-made Marlin 1895....in 45-70? I have thought to myself on more than one occasion that I'd give my left nut for one of those, but I can't find them anywhere, and if I could, I wouldn't find anyone who'd be willing to make that trade! 😂

Down side of all these reassignment surgeries, caused a surplus of left nuts and the market flooded and collapsed.

Which is fair enough, as you rightly point out it was a difficult commodity to trade.

Let me start by saying that I love my lever guns, especially my Model 99s. However, here is a challenge: Someone post a RELIABLE source for these new Ruger/Marlin rifles, and I mean reliable. It gets mildly irritating that you see articles and videos about a rifle, then it is literally impossible to find.

So, that's the ruger model.
I have a remlin also in sbl that I like and a cb model with both being 45-70's. I do like the lever guns and I have a blr in 270win and a rossi92 44mag. 1 day I'll add more levers to the stash. Enjoy that firearm!
