Idaho unit 1 fall bear hunt

Anyone hunted fall black bear in unit one Idaho? Looking at the area north of priest lake. Done a ton of e scouting and made alot of call but the more info I can get the better. Like

What shot distance can be expected?
North or south facing slopes?
Walking logging roads?
Spot and stalk?
Any other tips appreciated
