I am looking to go on a DIY spot and stalk bear hunt in Idaho this fall. I hunted down by Unit 39 two springs ago with minimal luck. One of the fish and game guys directed me to a specific area and after a week of hunting did not come across even so much as a track. This times, I am planning on be out there around the second week of September. Does anyone have any experience in the Priest Lake area or any other recommendations on areas to focus on?
