I switched to Steel pin tumbling

Question, does leaving the brass in the solution for prolonged time have any effect? Is it just tumbling for extended time?

I've not seen any discoloring from it, but I've wondered if the dirt and grime that i'd Just cleaned off would settle into the brass, so if I'd let it sit after tumbling for a period longer than 4-5hrs I would turn it back on to make sure the broken up dirt was freed back up. Then I dump them out into my 3gallon bucket and separate the brass and dry them. I like the shine and like that I'm not introducing dirt into my chamber...
