Husqvarna build

I have a Husqvarna model 1970 with an 1900 action chambered in 30-06. I have been toying around with the idea of turning it into a 6.5-06. I know this is not a remington 700 or a savage to build a custom on, but the action is soo smooth. Has anyone built off a Husqvarna action before? Or am I just wasting my time? Any input would be appreciated

Husqvarna actions

I and a few friends have built sevreal custom guns using these actions. They are great for custom guns. They all take some tigger work, 3 position safety, and some clean up but I would not hesitate to use one. I've never built a "Long Range" gun on one but light weight sporters and other magnum calibers.
