HS Precision Barrel Blanks...

you sure about that? Their actions are almost an exact copy of a Howa 1500 the only difference is a side bolt release and 1-1/16" tenon threads
An hs has almost nothing in common with a howa. Are you thinking nosler 48?
The hs has a significantly different bolt, has a coned bolt face, 3 position wing safety a rear bolt release like a M70. Fits a rem700 inlet and takes a m700 trigger. Its more like a cross between a m70 and a rem 700.

Yup sorry I was thinking of the nosler 48 action

HS Precision is a stand up barrel maker. They run Single point cut rifling machines made by Pratt and Whitney these are the same machines that Krieger and other long time cut rifled barrel makers use. I used to live about 1/4 mile from HS Precision for two years and spent a lot of time bugging those guys. They do make every part screws springs and all in house in Rapid City, SD. I've built several rifles with their barrels and all of them shot great. Here is a 300 win mag with their #4 barrel with a 1-11 twist grouping with 212eldx
