Been lurking for a little bit and finally decided to make an account
I've been hunting my entire life but just got into long range shooting a few months ago. My brother and his best friend have been doing it for a few years, so I'm kinda leaning on him as well as what I've read on this board and other sites.
I'm in the middle of my first build. I'm working off a Rem. 700 LA with a Jewell trigger. Just sent a Bartlein barrel off to the gunsmith to be chambered in 6.5-.284 and I've got a McMillan game scout stock on the way. Haven't figured out what I'm gonna use for optics but I've got a few ideas. Looking forward to learning more about the sport and getting to know some good folks along the way. Cheers
