Hi I am new to the forum, read it a lot ,finally registered. I recently bought a Howa barreled action in 6.5x55 and put a Boyd's classic on it that I completely redid the stock, it is in laminate, I put Ebony for end and grip cap on. From what I can tell the twist is either 1 in 7 3/4 or 1 in 8, allowing for patch slippage when I measured it. I am using Lapua brass CCI 250,IMR 7828 and 140 A Max along with 130 Sirocco's. Has anyone used similar loading but in the higher pressures say 55,000 to 60,000 psi loadings. I know the Howa is good for it as they load the .375 Ruger that has more pressure and bolt thrust. Pete
