If you do the testing and if manufacture has remained consisted of a period of time, you'll most probably find that Fed 215's are the hottest primer out there. Even a bit hotter than 215GMs.
Learned that from a noted rifle smith and proved it true and haven't used anything but Fed 215s in magnum/extreme magnum cartridges and slow burning powders since then.
In '06 family of cases, namely 270 Win, I use CCI-200s for best results.
