Anybody else's significant other have a similar setup as their own? Hers is a 28 nosler with the Manners MCS2 and the other is a 30 nosler which is mine. The adjustable stock on hers means I get to shoot both of them haha 😊

Yep! Both push-feed Model 70 Winchesters in synthetic stocks, both wearing 3.5-10 Leupold CDS's, both zero'd @ 300 yards, triggers are set very similar, both are wearing Pachmyar Decelerator recoil pads, and weigh within a few ounces of each other.

The differences……hers is a bit shorter and in a .338 WM, mine is a .375AI! memtb

Jill and I have the same model 70. Mine in 7mm-08 and Her's in .243 Win. We also have MPA Matrix Pro Chassis with Jill's in 6 BR and mine in 6 Dasher.

Yup, the wife shot my new 7STW when I got it built and pretty much demanded to have one built for her.
That's exactly what happened with her 28 nosler. We borrowed my old man's for an elk hunt, and after seeing what it was capable of, she was adamant she needed one.

I failed to mention in my above post……they have near identical trajectories at "reasonable" hunting ranges. That makes for a relatively easy transition, should one of us have a rifle malfunction!

Her's would be pretty short in LOP for me …..but, I can adapt! However, she refuses to use mine…….sometimes, she's a bit of a "sissy"! 😂 memtb

That's the beauty of building her a rifle because we both have the same LOP.😁
So the second one built has a heavy 28" flutted barrel, hopefully she will like the lighter 26"
