Yes - my 20 YO safe that cost $650 now goes for $1,850.
Looking at videos of major Russian tank kills in Ukraine makes me think of how many gun safes could be made from destoyed tank steel. Almost all Russian tank kills show turrets completely blown off the main tank body. Apparently an ammo carousel below the turret explodes upom taking a hit & the propellent with projectile explosive goes off & blows the turret off like a cork on a fizzy wine bottle. Such as waste - possilby when this is over some enterprising Ukrainean can start up a gun safe company to compete with the Chinese using destroyed Russian armor. Ideally, the Ukraine safes would be modular, no piece over 100 pounds, assembled on site, & the owner would insulate using 5/8 sheet rock from local lumber yards.
