Just joined the forum , I'm a 48 yr old New Zealander who returned to the outdoors about 4 yrs ago after spending a good few years concentrating on growing my stomach!!
I'm really a hiker who has now turned to hunting. So while I'm at home in the back country I am only just coming to grips with hunting. Certainly the deer win the majority of our encounters.
I have a young family [7yr old daughter & 9yr old son] so hunting is not my top priority , but I really look forward to those times my wife issues me a leave pass for a trip to the hills.
This new fangled internet is great for learning how people from other lands hunt.
