shooting last Sunday,,Sako TRG42 10 twist 338 LM,,300 Berger OTM 90 grs Retumbo,,it was about 40* and wind was 20-25 and gusting in from 10 oclock,,plate is 18 inches and range is 1,500 yards,,

is it possible to hit an 18 inch plate at 1500 with bullets tumbling?? I cant explain the two sideways hits??

gun)I also bet they hit low and skipped in. I have shot the 300 Bergers in a 10 twist and never had an issue. I have shot them a bunch on paper at 1000 and the holes were always round. I have shot deer at farther distances and the hole going in and out weren't sideways. If they were tumbling I don't think you would hit the target. When we shot the big Accubonds in a 375 Cheytac and they came unglued you couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. They were totally unpredictable. Matt
