My name is mike I'm just joining this site, my passion is medium too long range shooting. I shoot the 168 gr. HPBT Sierra matchking grade bullet's, chambered in the 300 wsm caliber, fired from a Savage 12fvss... Does anybody have comments or questions too share with me to help perfect this skill.

Welcome Mike to LRH. I am a Savage lover and one of the rifles I own is a Savage model 12 .22-250 fvss. I have never owned a .300 wsm but have had other .300 magnums. If it was me and I wanted to stretch it out to long range I would up my bullet selection, the 168 I believe will hold you back from the accuracy that heavier bullets will give you.

Welcome Mike! I'm a Savage Model 12 and 300 WSM fan too. I shoot the 210 Berger Hunting VLDs with RL17 and the 180 Accubond with H4350. Great cartridge the 300 WSM.
