I got some mags for a norma build, got it all installed and the bolt goes right over the case. Case seems to be butt down and bullet/neck up. With 3 loaded rounds it picks up 1 but then just jams for obvious reasons.
Nick at Hawkins says they only really work with 750 bolt diam raceways actions, but there is zero mention of this anywhere. I can put norma case in a prc mag and it sits the exact same, so I'm wondering if I got a mismarked mag. Can someone show me a picture that owns a Hawkins hunter nomra/Lapua magazine with a case in it. I'll show everyone for reference. Seems like an expensive mag setup to have to modify for my needs
I used a 300 prc case as reference on where a case should really sit in a magazine. And the prc case sits the exact same in both a PRC mag and Norma magazine
