does anyone have experience with these for 30 cal down?a local shop has them for 563.00 plus about 80.00 for the adapter to my ar barrel,is this a good price and is this unit worth it. he said it does not have to be taken apart for cleaning? thanks all

I have been using one mainly for hunting for about three years now and it's a great light weight can. I have used it on a 6.5 Creedmoor some, but most of the use has been on my 6x6.8 & 223 AR-15's. My 223 is 1/2x28 and I use a 5/8x24 thread adapter on the barrel that way I don't have to change out the threaded cap on the can when switching between rifles. The Griffin Sportsman Ultra Light 300 might be another one to look at too.

I've shot mine on .223, .243, 6.5x47, 7-08, and 30-06. Its a good sounding and light weight can.

Silencerco has excellent customer service as well. Had a baffle strike on mine last year. I shipped it to them, they totally re-cored it like new and had it back to me in a week. No cost to me other than shipping. They definitely seem to stand by their warranty.

It also has an integrated recoil break. Its the only centerfire can I've used so I can't compare it but the recoil reduction is really good. I'd estimate 1/3 to 1/2 reduction. Downside is it's very light so it gets hot with strings of fire.

Silencerco Harvester is an excellent hunting/bolt gun suppressor. For a more heavy duty all around suppressor look at the Silencerco Omega. The Omega also has the anchor brake and is full auto rated, in case you want to do some rapid fire with your AR....

I run 2 on a few different bolt rifles. Zero complaints.
The Harvester is a very nice reliable light duty can. I run one and move it between my 300 win mag bolt gun, 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun and Aero Precision 308 gas gun. It works great. Very good sound reduction. Slight but repeatable poi shift. On my Creedmoor the shift is 1"low and 1" right @ 100yds every time. For the quality, the price is tremendous. Good luck.
