Hammer bullets for 270

For a 270win 10 twist, what would be the best bullet for everything from Texas whitetail (small) to Aoudad? I'm wanting to develop a single load and stick with it for now since my primer supply is low. Also, what powder would be best to try with it?

I'd go with the 116 grain absolute hammer hunter.

We were using the 145 Shock Hammer, as I've grown more comfortable with the lighter versions, we'll convert either to the 116 Absolute, the 117 Hammer Hunter, or 117 Shock Hammer.

Probably the standard 117 Hammer Hunter.

The heaviest bullet listed for 1:10 twist is the 124 HH. Seems most are using the 117HH. My experience with Hammers has been they shoot best when pushed hard. I have been switching over all rifles to them for how easy they are to get load development, shoot well with variety of powders, jump doesn't seem to be big deal and most important.....AVAILABLE!

Like them so much I am building new rifle .270 Win 1:8 twist to shoot heavier Hammers!

The 145 Shock Hammer is recommended 1-10" twist as well. A little "stockier" bullet.

I have used the 117 Hammer Hunter in my 270 Win with excellent results.
My son flipped a doe antelope over backwards using this. That was interesting to see...
