Hammer 169s 7prc

I got some 169s here I'm gonna give a shot, kinda wishing they were 155s. But I loaded up a powder work up starting at 66 grains up to 69 with rl26. My velocity's won't be what's expected as I have a bit of a different build lol. I'm running an 18" carbon benchmark suppressed in 7prc. If I can get em up in the 2850 range I'll be pretty happy! Going to try to take these 169s to AK for caribou this august!
I loaded the 172 HH in my 7mag with N 560 66.2 grans they shot great with a 1-8.5 twist

Well, in terms of accuracy, I've got some issues with this rifle. I'll be tearing it apart and re torquing everything, swapping scopes, and trying again. Everything shot in the 1-2" area at 100 yards. There's gotta be something off. On another note I tried rl26 with 180 hybrids and 169 hammers. 18" barrel pushed the 180s at 2830, never reaching pressure. And 169 hammers up to 3010fps. I'll swap scopes and stocks, re torque and try one more time and hopefully things tighten up.

Manually measure the barrel twist and make sure it is what it is supposed to be.

swapped stocks and scopes to rule out these issues and seems to have fixed the issue. The hammers all shot fairly well but will tweak seating depths a bit to see if they tighten. These loads were all seated .050 off the lands and worked from 67-69g of rl26. 67g was right at 2900fps and 69 went up to 3k. My ES wasn't what I'm normally happy with..all loads hovering around 20-30 fps spread but accuracy was much better. Barrel sped up from the last time I shot and my 180 hybrids loads were all too high. Started at 67 this time and 67.5 gave me some clickers so stopped there( velocity at 2800) . I'll likely try the hammers with a few different seating depths from here and see if it tightens. Target is all hammers and the one flyer on bottom left was just a random hit after bore sighting to get on target, not actually part of said group

Likely last post on this, tested a few different seating depths today. Along with a couple different changes. .040-.050 shot virtually identical. .030 opened up. Charge didn't seem to matter. But settled on 68.6g rl26 and cci250s behind the 169hh. Average velocity was 2970fps. Es over 10 shots was 24. Shooting 1/2" at 200. Pretty happy for a 9lb scoped and suppressed 7 prc with 18" barrel

Anyone running it yet? I'm about to start loading some up with this combo. Planning on h1000 and cci250s here
I'm running 169 hammer hunters 64.0 grains N560. .020 off 26" mcgowen barrel 1:9 twist timney trigger using a model 70 action . <.5 moa @ 100 yards . Wish I had a longer range to shoot at but don't :-(. Speeds are 3044 , 3053 , 3051 . Pretty good !
