Had some volunteers for a day of testing

Outstanding shooting and a nice chrony setup. Thanks for posting the excellent pics.

Yep, that's what's to be expected from those rifles "when ya steer 'em right".:)

How many shots do you have through it?

I finally got my 270 AM shooting 195s like that. The 169s always did. Will confirm the 195s later today.

The old girl is getting a little long in the tooth.

However, not 195s available...... Coming up with my own DIY bullet. Should know shortly.

I'm kind of down on the tag thing also. What's the sense of the great rifle if there's nothin' to harvest?????

Things are getting better on the woofs though. Allowed electronic predator calls and increased quota is the word on the street for this year.

There has been a woof harvested after or during a sheep kill near Preston, ID which is just a few miles north of the Utah border.

The suckers are spreading.

Just took mine to a local smith w/a bore scope.

It's not nearly as long in the tooth as I expected.....

He says it has very little sign of stress, heat, etc. With at least 75% or better life left.

I'll shoot it tomorrow and see what its doing.

I'll get Kirby to look through it when I get up there.
