Looking at the published data this seems like a pretty good powder. Does anyone have any loads developed using this powder?

HEY 1 in 10

H414 is a ball powder and measures really good.

It is great for 7-08 size cases and should be in the wsm.

H 414 & varget would be a good choice for top velocities
and reasonable pressures.

Start lo and go slow.

good luck /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just the data on the Hodgdon site for 270 wsm. Thery say
starting loads 57gr @ 53,800 PSI
Maxes out 61gr @ 62,700
...hmmm similar loading as H4350 (H4350 Maxes out 1/2 gr lower) on this chart
Interesting ... faster than the 4350s
yet slower that w760, H380, BL-C(2)
I wonder if it's funny looking ?
Please go to the Hodgdon site and verify this and read all the warnings if needed.
I think its near

P.S. By the way , they are showing top speeds from this powder from 120-135gr bullets, but you probably already know that.

Stick with a hot primer too... or this stuff is about impossible to make shoot.
