What loads for what cartridges have any of you found these 2 too be good for? I've avoided both, but now seem to be in the range of my needs?

308win
260rem
243win
5.56
6.8spc
6.5gren
6.5creed

are the possible used cartridges for which the 2 stand?

H380 might be slower burning now than older lots. I loaded 44.0 grains of H380 & 168s in the .308 with good results. The newer lots might take more powder being slower. Start at 44.0 & work up with 165's - 168's. H380 ball powder was first made from reclaiming huge amounts of surplus 4895.

Interesting that you say H380.came from reclaiming surplus 4895….. they made a ball powder out of a stick? It's slower burning but add l powder coatings could have done that if in fact the case; just can't quite vision the stick to perfectly round ball powder reclaiming ??

I've used H-380 in my 7/08 with the Speer 145 gr SBT. I didn't get the velocity that I got from WW 760 or StaBal but the accuracy was superb. Velocity was appx 75 ft/sec less. Also in 3 different 22/250's I've owned H-380 was the most accurate powder.
