I know this is a long shot as this is an "obsolete" cartridge. Still kills stuff though. Anyway, I always used 4350, but getting low. I have both CCI 250 and Remington 9 1/2 Primers and quite a bit of IMR 4831. I wanted to try Hammer bullets, probably the 166 gr Hammer Hunters.
The closest I could find was a Nosler E tip 168 gr using 66 gr as a starting load. Maybe this is too much experimenting for someone who usually just follows a loading manual to the tee though. The rifle is a 90s vintage Model 70.
Anyone have loads that are similar using 4831?
