So I called one shop for powder I needed and it was sold before I got there. After I left for home I called another shop up the road knowing they didn't have reloading supplies but keep some powder on hand. Got RL 17 for this much……..

Found this website from Alliant Powder, CAC Associates out of PA. If I remember correctly you need a handling licence which is like 1000 bucks a year to be a dealer. The prices are 20 to 35 bucks for 1 lb containers and 150 to 250 bucks for 8 pound containers. Guess that's the only way around getting it cheaper.

Hodgdons is one of Alliants dealers ? According to the wholesalers list.

I believe that Brownell and MidSouth has BR-2 primers, but @$139.00 per Th. plus shipping and Hazmat charges. I didn't purchase any. to much in my estimation.
