Can you load a ballistics program onto a GPS like the Garmin Montana?

I had a similar idea as the OP and did a search, this is what I found. It appears to work with ballistic apps off of Google Play. And is compatible with Android

Garmin makes one. IIRC it's the Foretrex 701. I didn't dig on its user interface or battery life but it does work exactly as advertised.
